A true mix mash of many prawn patterns out there for Spotted Grunter. This pattern takes inspiration from various flies but ticks all the boxes, from the articulation to the size and profile, as well as the buoyancy, you're left with a simple but effective pattern.
As with most Grunter prawns, we would opt to fish this fly on a floating line with a long leader. A figure of eight retrieve always works well, but mix it up and observe the behavior of the fish you're targeting.
