The Woolly Bugger must be one of the most versatile and productive flies around. The marabou tail and in most cases a palmered body suggest a small juvenile bait fish, insect larva, tadpoles or leeches that trout can resist. It works well in larger sizes for Bass.
The black version with the blue flash aka speed cop works exceptionally well in Dullstroom.
If you could only choose one fly to fish for Trout, this would be it.
Fishes all year round, a must in various sizes and colours for any fly box.
