The Woolly Bugger must be one of the most versatile and productive flies around. The marabou tail and in most cases a palmered body suggest a small juvenile bait fish, insect larva, tadpoles or leeches that trout can resist. It works well in larger sizes for Bass.
Fish the brown version near the weed beds when they are dying off and changing colour to brown.
Fishes all year round, a must in various sizes and colours for any fly box.
