The Grunter Prawn is a cross over between a Turd fly and the Jam Fly. This pattern is articulated and tied using synthetic material, which allows this pattern to sit differently in the water column and won't be as buoyant, making this a great pattern when targeting Grunter on different kids of substrates.
We would fish this fly on a floating line and a long leader. Make sure to stay in contact at all times.
