With a realistic quill body and buggy thorax, this pattern will clean up on Sterkfontein, the Vaal River and just about any trout stillwater when the fish are feeding on emergers. We would fish this pattern on a 12 to 14ft leader, stepping down your trippet to 5X or 6X fluorocarbon.
