A perfect choice when fish are preoccupied with feeding on fry. You can either fish this streamer pattern aggressively across the surface, or employ an occasional twitch to imitate a wounded baitfish whie using a floating line. The zonker tail will add moment to the fly with minimal retrieval. We've found this pattern to work particularly well at dusk and dawn, and on occasion past sunset for big brown trout.
